The path so far

Salomé Calina Schneiter grew up surrounded by music in Nidau near Biel, finding her way to the classical voice through piano, violin and singing. She completed both her Bachelor's degree and her Master of Arts in Pedagogy (Classical Voice) at the HKB Bern. Alongside classical music, she is at home in early music as well as in pop and jazz singing – and advocates for greater diversity in music, for instance for lesser-known works and for women composers.

She regularly performs varied concerts as a soloist, in the "Duo Ayumé" (art song & pop/jazz/folk) and in the trio "Singsch mit üs?" (concerts for children).

Approach to teaching

Diversity is an enrichment for me – in the repertoire, in the styles and above all in the people I work with. My teaching is resource-oriented and participatory: we shape goals, pace and repertoire together, so that you can discover your voice and unfold it with joy.

In my lessons I work with the You "C" Cards (Verein Ayumé – Musik und Diversität). The "C" stands for can, choose, create, construct – the cards make musical learning visible, flexible and self-directed, for all ages and levels, neurodivergent or neurotypical. It matters to me that music lessons are open to as many people as possible and that everyone can shape their own path in a self-determined way.

With great passion and creativity, I follow my path as an artist and educator – and love to pass this joy on.

What awaits you in lessons:

  • Singing with fun, passion and expression
  • Healthy use and care of the voice
  • Discovering ways to build and develop your skills
  • Modern, individually tailored methods
  • Lessons for every age and inclusive
  • Space for wishes, questions and creativity

Bring along:

  • Your wishes
  • Your curiosity
  • Your questions

Together we will work on your individual goals and unfold your vocal abilities. Ready for a musical journey? Get in touch now!

Did you know? Singing…

… is good for the (children's and adults') vocal apparatus and protects its health
… strengthens lung function and the muscles used for breathing
… supports cognitive processes such as attention, working memory and long-term memory
… and much more!

Was erwartet dich im Unterricht:

  • Singen mit Spass, Leidenschaft und Ausdruck
  • Gesunde Nutzung und Pflege der Stimme
  • Entdeckung von Aufbau- und Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten
  • Moderne, individuell angepasste Methodik
  • Unterricht für jedes Alter und Inklusiv
  • Raum für Wünsche, Fragen und Kreativität

Bring mit:

  • Deine Wünsche
  • Deine Neugierde
  • Deine Fragen
