I am a guitarist and music educator based in Lausanne, teaching classical, acoustic and electric guitar to children, teenagers and adults, from beginner to advanced level.
I hold a Master’s degree in Music Pedagogy from Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and a PhD in Music from the University of Surrey, and have more than twenty years of experience teaching guitar in Switzerland and abroad.
My guitar lessons in Lausanne are tailored to each student’s goals and musical interests. Lessons combine repertoire, instrumental technique, reading, musical understanding and the development of independent musicianship. I work both with students who want to learn the guitar for their own enjoyment and with those preparing for examinations or pursuing a more structured musical path.
I also offer early childhood music classes in Lausanne for children aged 0–6, inspired by Edwin Gordon’s Music Learning Theory and based on listening, singing, movement, rhythm and play.
Lessons are available in English, French, Italian or German.
Ich bin Gitarrist und Musikpädagoge in Lausanne und unterrichte klassische Gitarre, Akustikgitarre und E-Gitarre für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene – vom Anfänger- bis zum fortgeschrittenen Niveau.
Ich habe einen Master in Musikpädagogik der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) sowie einen Doktortitel in Musik (PhD) der University of Surrey und verfüge über mehr als zwanzig Jahre Erfahrung im Gitarrenunterricht in der Schweiz und im Ausland.
Mein Gitarrenunterricht in Lausanne orientiert sich an den Zielen und Interessen jedes einzelnen Schülers. Der Unterricht verbindet Repertoire, Instrumentaltechnik, Notenlesen, musikalisches Verständnis und die Entwicklung musikalischer Selbstständigkeit. Ich begleite sowohl Schüler, die aus Freude Gitarre lernen möchten, als auch diejenigen, die sich auf Prüfungen vorbereiten oder eine strukturierte musikalische Ausbildung anstreben.
Darüber hinaus biete ich in Lausanne musikalische Früherziehung für Kinder von 0 bis 6 Jahren an, inspiriert von Edwin Gordons Music Learning Theory und basierend auf Hören, Singen, Bewegung, Rhythmus und Spiel.
Der Unterricht ist auf Deutsch, Französisch, Englisch oder Italienisch möglich.

Titulaire d’un Master en pédagogie musicale de la Haute école des arts de Zurich (ZHdK) et d’un doctorat en musique (PhD) de l’Université de Surrey, j’ai plus de vingt ans d’expérience dans l’enseignement de la guitare en Suisse et à l’étranger.
Mes cours de guitare à Lausanne sont adaptés aux objectifs et aux intérêts de chaque élève. Le travail associe répertoire, technique instrumentale, lecture, compréhension musicale et développement de l’autonomie. J’accompagne aussi bien les élèves qui souhaitent apprendre la guitare pour leur plaisir que ceux qui préparent des examens ou souhaitent suivre un parcours musical plus structuré.
Je propose également des cours d’éveil musical à Lausanne pour les enfants de 0 à 6 ans, inspirés de la Music Learning Theory d’Edwin Gordon et fondés sur l’écoute, le chant, le mouvement, le rythme et le jeu.

Ho conseguito un Master in Pedagogia musicale presso la Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) e un dottorato di ricerca in musica (PhD) presso la University of Surrey, e ho oltre vent’anni di esperienza nell’insegnamento della chitarra in Svizzera e all’estero.
Le mie lezioni di chitarra a Losanna sono adattate agli obiettivi e agli interessi musicali di ogni allievo. Il percorso combina repertorio, tecnica strumentale, lettura, comprensione musicale e sviluppo dell’autonomia. Lavoro sia con chi desidera imparare la chitarra per il proprio piacere, sia con chi prepara esami o desidera seguire un percorso musicale più strutturato.
Propongo inoltre corsi di educazione musicale per la prima infanzia a Losanna, rivolti a bambini da 0 a 6 anni e ispirati alla Music Learning Theory di Edwin Gordon, attraverso ascolto, canto, movimento, ritmo e gioco.
Le lezioni possono essere svolte in italiano, francese, inglese o tedesco.
